Newborn

Newborn portraiture by AluraWayne Photography captures the new relationship between your new family dynamic in a lifestyle setting within my Nashville studio located in Lenox Village, or the comfort of your own home. Our newborn sessions are very natural and organic and aim to capture those sweet little details.

Your session will include a mixture of posed newborn photos with natural, organic materials (baskets, wraps, and comfy items to nestle baby in), as well as a mixture of guided posed and lifetyle photos with parents and siblings. I utilize "baby-led posing" for your newborn; baby will only ever be posed on their back within comfortable props, or nestled safely in your arms.

Newborn sessions will typically take place within 5 - 20 days of baby's birth.

Want more of an emphasis on lifestyle photos in your own element without having to drive anywhere? I recommend a home based session. Want more posed photos with more props for baby and in a setting you don’t have to clean or prep beforehand? Then a studio session might work best for you! I have an easy workflow to help you prepare for either style of session you may choose.
