Documenting birth stories is one of the most sacred experiences I have had the honor of capturing for my clients since 2015. As a mother myself I know how precious those moments are. How transformative. While looking back at our own birth experiences, many moments can be fuzzy...It is my goal to document those moments so you will be able to remember all of the details. That first cry. The first time you look into your baby's eyes. The first time you hold baby in your arms. I will quietly document the relationship between partners and birthing teams, the emotions that build throughout this journey, and how everything comes together so beautifully and miraculously to bring new life into the world.
My years of experience have enabled me to work alongside every type of birth plan (and everything unplanned!) imaginable and I bring that expertise to the table when you book with me. Many photographers come and go in the birth world due to the unpredictable nature of birth work, and many new photographers jump in not knowing what to expect or how to prepare for such an experience…you can rest assured that I have seen it all, shot it all, and know exactly what to do and where to be to capture your story as authentically, beautifully, and unobtrusively as possible.
