Photographing the birth experience is a treasure in itself, but photographing a rainbow baby- a term lovingly used for birth after experiencing the loss of a baby-is a special experience all on its own. I was so honored to document this journey for the Chamberlain family.

Elizabeth's mother, grandmother and grandfather all joined us in the hospital room to create an environment that I can best describe as pure joy! I have never been around a more emotional group for a birth, and all in the best ways possible...if Elizabeth cried, they all cried. If she hurt, everyone hurt. When their sweet baby girl arrived, everyone was completely overcome by the miracle that she was, and it was insanely beautiful to be a part of.

I am always so honored to be invited on this incredible journey of welcoming a new baby to the world, and I am so thrilled to be able to share a glimpse with you all now.
